Mariana Slomyanski is the founder of Slomyanski Law, an exclusive Plaintiff Personal Injury Law Firm.
Mariana has obtained a unique experience having worked as a defence lawyer, as well as a plaintiff counsel. Mariana’s practice focuses exclusively on the areas of the Personal Injury Law: Accident Benefits, with a focus on Catastrophic Injuries, Tort claims, various Slip & Fall Accidents, as well as Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability claims. Her previous work has provided Mariana with extensive experience and knowledge of all angles of insurance claims. Mariana is a hard working lawyer and a strong fighter for her clients’ rights, she is also well known for her sympathetic approach to clients and attentiveness to each individual case.
Mariana was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. After she graduated from high school with Honors, she studied at the Medical State University of Moscow. During these studies Mariana was especially interested in Psychiatry and also pursued additional studies of Clinical Psychology. After coming to Israel Mariana obtained LL.B and LL.M Degrees from Tel-Aviv University, Faculty of Law. Once she was called to the Israel Bar in 2001, Mariana practiced law for five years in the areas of Personal Injury, Insurance Law and Civil and Commercial Litigation in Israel representing insurance companies, municipality and corporate clients. After moving to Canada, Mariana attended the University of Toronto, Law School to obtain the necessary accreditation requirements, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2009.
While in Canada, Mariana has had many favorable settlements for her clients and when necessary has successfully appeared before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, ADR, LAT Tribunal and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
Mariana uses her medical background while handling personal injury claims and is highly effective and result-oriented when serving the diverse legal needs of her clients.
Mariana was an instructor at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology, where she taught Administrative Law and Law of Torts and Contracts for several years.
She is fluent in English, Russian and Hebrew.
Mariana spends her spare time with her family.
